I was a custodial parent with two kids. No real job experience, no college degree and no child support payments coming in. I was working 60 hours a week at two low paying jobs and falling desperately short of money every month before the bills and daycare were paid. Driving an old, rusty Ford Pinto and living in a cheap 1 bedroom apartment with my kids, I cut corners where and when I could. I desperately needed the child support I was entitled to get!

I turned to the State Office of Child Support Enforcement for help. They told me that I had to locate him and provide them with his contact information. Eventually I found him living in a different state than I did, and provided all this to the state agency.

Completely fed up with a system that didn’t work for me, I contacted Verna, who had years of collections experience, and suggested we begin a child support collection agency.
